What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
This is how I used the clone stamp tool and spot healing brush to make my model's face look free of blemishes and dark circles under her eyes, and also how I got rid of the shadows from underneath her glasses. I started off at first by selecting the spot healing brush and selecting all of the blemishes on her forehead that I wanted gone from the image, and then when this was done I used the clone stamp tool to give her face a more smooth complexion. I then used the clone stamp tool to get rid of the shadows created by her glasses, by selecting a part of her skin that I wanted her whole skin to be the same colour as, and then left clicking on the shadows so that it was the same colour as the rest of her skin tone.
This is how, using the quick selection tool, I got rid of the background surrounding my model. I selected the quick selection tool on the panel, and then left clicked and dragged my mouse so that it selection a certain part of the background and pressed delete to get rid of this part of the background. I did this so that eventually just my model was left without a background surrounding her so that when I pasted the picture onto an A4 paper in Photoshop, the background of the photo shoot wouldn't be included as it had been deleted.
This is how I used the brush tool and changed the capacity to make my model's eyes look more blue. At first I zoomed in on the eye, and selected the brush tool and changed the colour to a bright blue, I then brushed over the eye with the blue and then changed the capacity to a smaller percentage to make it look more realistic.
This is the process I went through to make my final front cover. The technologies I used include transform, scale and rotation of the image and the boxes, the shape tool to create the boxes behind text, the brush tool to create the grey background, the text tool which included changing the font and style of text, and changing the opacity of shapes and colours:
This is the process I went through to make my final contents page. The technologies I used include transform and scale to change the size of the images used, changing the opacity of shapes and colours, the text tool which included changing the character, font, size and colour of the text used, the brush tool to create a grey background, and the shape tool to create the boxes:
This is the process I went through to make my final double page spread. The technologies I used at first on Publisher include scaling the images, copy and pasting the article I wrote and changing these all to the 'tight' format so that when I wanted to add in my pull quotes, the article would form around the pull quotes to give it a more profession look, I also used the shape tool to give the images a grey background. The technologies I used on Photoshop include the text tool, which included changing the font and size of the pull quote I used, I also used the shape tool to create the boxes behind the pull quote next to the images, and then I changed the opacity of the boxes behind the text too.
