Practice photos

I really like this photo as the way the shadow falls on the left side of her face creates a really nice effect, I think I could use a similar effect on the photos I take for either my front cover or my double page spread.

The lighting in this photo is really nice as it highlights my model's face really well, I think I could use this type of shot for one of the images in my double page spread.

I don't particularly like this shot of my model, I don't think the angel is very good and I think if I were to take it again I would maybe the shot from a lower angle

I think that the angle of this shot shows my model in a good light and presents her nicely, but I would have preferred the lighting to be a bit better because it looks a bit too dim for a front cover/double page spread photo

I like that the light from the left hand side of this photo has created a shadow on the right side of the photo, and I think that I could maybe use this to create a similar effect for one of the photos I take for my magazine.

I think that this photo would be really good for a double page spread, but not for a front cover as front cover main images are conventionally medium close ups. I do like the lighting on this one, just the angle isn't suitable for a front cover.

The angle for this photo is quite nice, and I would be able to use for my front cover if these were my proper images because it is a medium close up, which is conventional for a front cover image. However, the lighting isn't very good in this photo and it would have been better if the image was a little brighter to highlight the model's features.

Audience research and reader profiles

This is the research I did about what sort of things attract readers to a magazine/what they would expect from a magazine, in order to gain a better insight into what to include in my magazine:

This is the research I did on pre-existing music magazines in order to understand what type of audience I should be targeting, and how I should target this audience:
